Los Angeles Rams cornerback Marcus Peters was cleared of the NFL's concussion protocol after suffering a hit on his interception and pick-six against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The 26-year-old defensive back exited the game after the defensive touchdown, explaining why Peters was added to the injury report, but he should be a “full participant” despite a facial laceration, per ESPN's Lindsey Thiry.

Peters is in his second season with the Rams after a distinguished, three-year tenure with the Kansas City Chiefs to start his career. The two-time Pro-Bowl corner forms a talented tandem with fellow cornerback Aqib Talib. Peters' interception on Sunday was his fourth career pick as a member of the Rams. Through four seasons and four games, Peters has totaled 23 career interceptions.

The Rams are coming off a bad loss against the Bucs wherein they hemorrhaged points, giving up 55 in the 15-point defeat. They also only ran the ball on 10 occasions, relying on former first-overall pick quarterback Jared Goff to lead the way through the air. The fourth-year signal-caller could not get the job down, throwing three interceptions en route to the home loss—the first one on the season.

Peters, meanwhile, is expected to play for L.A. when they travel to Seattle on Thursday for a primetime matchup with NFC West division rival Seahawks in a battle of 3-1 teams. Peters is going to be extremely busy beside Talib and safeties John Johnson and Eric Weddle against Seattle's Russell Wilson, who has thrown eight touchdowns against zero interceptions through the early part of the 2019 NFL season.
