Thursday is one of the more exciting days of the NFL offseason. Later Thursday night, the league will announce the entire schedule for the 2022-2023 season. However, particular games have trickled out. Well, the NFL just unveiled all 32 home openers, including all of Week 1. That, of course, includes the first game of the season, which should be a thriller as the Super Bowl defending champion Los Angeles Rams will host the Buffalo Bills.

That matchup is loaded with talent on both sides of the field. The Bills were 13 seconds away from hosting the AFC Championship Game last season. Their overtime loss to the Chiefs prompted the NFL to make adjustments to overtime.

They will take on a Rams team that might be even better than the one that won the Super Bowl last year. The Rams lost defensive end Von Miller. Odell Beckham Jr. still is unsigned and not likely to play with Los Angeles next year. Robert Woods is in Tennessee. Those are not easy losses to replace, but the Rams did a pretty good job.

Los Angeles shocked the NFL world and signed Bobby Wagner. Wagner has been a top-five linebacker in the NFL for the last half-decade. Their defense now might feature the best defensive lineman, the best linebacker and the best cornerback in the NFL.

The Rams also brought in former Pro Bowl receiver Allen Robinson. Robinson was wasting away in Chicago without a quarterback that can get him the ball. The tall wideout should thrive opposite Cooper Kupp.

Some of the other key Week 1 matchups see Russell Wilson and the Broncos going back to Seattle and Tom Brady and the Buccaneers head to Dallas.

The rest of the schedule will be released later this evening.
