Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey has landed on the PUP list. With the start of training camp approaching, Ramsey is still healing from the shoulder surgery he had last month. Landing on the PUP list doesn't mean that he won't be returning in the near future. He could be activated at any point before the start of the season.

Jalen Ramsey, and the Rams, believe that he will be ready to go for the start of the season. During an appearance on “The Pivot Podcast,” Ramsey stated he played “half the year, probably 10 games, with two AC joints sprained.”

A five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro, Ramsey has held down the title of the league's best cornerback for some time now. Since being taken fifth overall in the 2016 draft, he has been elite. The former Flordia State cornerback has made his presence felt his day one. He has been a Pro-Bowler for five straight seasons.

Ramsey has also managed to stay relatively healthy throughout his career. He has missed just seven games.

Through 91 career games, he has already put up historic numbers. He has 364 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and four forced fumbles. He has also recorded 15 interceptions and deflected 74 passes.

As the Rams look to defend their Super Bowl title in 2022, Jalen Ramsey will play a critical role in their success. Los Angeles has put together an elite defense, but they are led by Ramsey and the man upfront, Aaron Donald

Jalen Ramsey will be joined in the secondary by newly signed Troy Hill, Jordan Fuller, Nick Scott, and Taylor Rapp. If all goes to plan, the group will be even better than they were last season.
