The Los Angeles Rams are hoping to have the services of starting tailback Darrell Henderson Jr. Monday night. The Rams travel to Arizona to face off with the Cardinals in a showdown with massive playoff implications.

Prior to Thursday's walk-through, Rams head coach Sean McVay announced that Henderson Jr. will be a limited participant. Henderson has been dealing with a thigh injury he sustained Week 12 vs the Green Bay Packers.

Henderson did not practice until Friday last week, which for a Sunday game, is the final chance to get in some work. The fact that Henderson is limited on the first day of practice this week (game is on Monday, not Sunday), bodes well for his chances of playing.

Last week, Henderson Jr was active but did not play a snap. In his absence, Rams tailback Sony Michel played very well, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown. He also caught three balls out of the backfield.

If the Rams have any hope of winning the NFC West, Monday night at Arizona is a must win game. They are currently two games behind the Cardinals and were soundly beaten by Arizona earlier this season.

A win would bring them within a game of the Cardinals with four to play.

Arizona looks to get healthier at running back as well. Earlier Thursday the Cardinals designated Chase Edmonds to return from injured reserve.

He will form a committee with James Connor. That has been one of the league's most potent one-two combinations at running back in the NFL this season.
