Wide receiver Robert Woods was a surprise inactive for the Los Angeles Rams in their Week 11 win over the Chicago Bears for personal reasons. While he did return to the team on Thursday, his status for Monday's game with the Baltimore Ravens is unknown.

“It’s looking good, but like we’ve said and kind of like he said the other day, ‘We’re just taking it a day at a time,'” coach Sean McVay said on Saturday, via Pro Football Talk. “It’s been great having him back around here. I know everybody feeds off his energy. He’s had a good week of practice, really, a good two days I should say. We’re just taking it one day at a time right now. That’s what he and I had discussed and that’s what we are doing.”

Physically, Woods is fine. If he were not to play, it would not have anything to do with physical health. Instead, McVay and Co. would like to see the wide-out sort out his family life, as that takes the cake in the priority list.

“[W]e’re just taking it one day at a time with the situation that he’s dealing with,” McVay said. “Things are looking good, but out of respect for him, with everything that is going on we just said, ‘Let’s just take it one day at a time, keep the main thing your family. That’s the No. 1 priority, football comes next.’”

Through nine games, Woods has 45 catches and 566 receiving yards, both second on the team to Cooper Kupp. However, he has yet to get a receiving touchdown after he had a career-high six last year.

If Woods were to play, he would join Brandin Cooks, who has not played since Week 8 due to a concussion. Considering they face the 8-2 Ravens, Los Angeles could use all the firepower they can get.
