Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown doesn’t feel there’s a need for anyone to dwell on the tantrum he threw on the sidelines during a 26-9 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Brown said that he doesn’t have any regrets for his actions and implied that he and the team are simply focused on what’s ahead instead of what happened last Sunday, per the Ravens’ website.

Brown was visibly irate during once instance in the game against the Ravens after Ben Roethlisberger opted to throw a pass (incomplete) to running back Le’Veon Bell instead of Brown who extricated himself from a defender in the middle of the field.  Brown then went to the bench and flipped a Gatorade container and brushed aside offensive coordinator Todd Haley, who was merely trying to console the wide receiver.

In explaining his outburst, Brown pinned it to his passion for the game, which has always been a convenient way for pro athletes to justify their occasional emotional eruptions.

“I’m passionate about the game. Anytime you work as hard, and you expect something out of the play, and it goes the other way, you just get a little frustrated.”

In the end, the Steelers got their third win of the season, improving to 3-1, and now find themselves atop the AFC North standings.

They will host the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday at home.
