As part of a marketing event with his 7-11 sponsorship, Pittsburgh Steelers and soon-to-be NFL  free-agent wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott were both at At&T Stadium in Texas. As a part of the tour, Prescott was able to give JuJu an inside look at the Cowboys' locker room. Once the doors were open and JuJu stepped foot into the room, he had nothing but glowing things to say:

“It’s unbeatable. The Steelers are still working on trying to get out of the wooden locker rooms. And over here, it’s very prestige. Oh, they’ll definitely hear this. I want them [the Steelers] to hear this.” – JuJu Smith-Schuster

Those comments did nothing but add more questions to JuJu's already full plate, and one of those questions was inevitably going to be about playing with Prescott and the Cowboys. When pressed on that subject, JuJu had this to say:

“Catching balls from him (Prescott) in a facility like this, I wouldn’t mind it. He has some good guys around him, a great team, a great organization. So you never know.” – JuJu Smith-Schuster

No self-respecting journalist can hear those two comments from JuJu, combine them with what he said last week about possibly joining the Cowboys, and not think to ask Prescott if he too would like this pairing to happen. Prescott was a little more diplomatic in his response so that he could hopefully avoid any fines, but he did end up saying this:

“I mean, yeah, for sure,” Prescott said. “I don’t want to cause any tampering or anything. We’re at 7-Eleven today. But obviously, a great player. Just getting to know him away from the game, yeah, he’s going to be a great player, wherever he is” – Dak Prescott

In the end, the pairing is unlikely. The Cowboys wide receiver position is not in need and if they are going to spend any money in 2022 NFL free agency it is not going to be on a third receiver. Pittsburgh also might be out of Smith Schuster's range if he is planning on striking it rich in free agency.
