Taylor Swift was quite thrilled with the massive crowd in Portugal, and she let it be known.

It was the singer's first time performing at Estádio da Luz for back-to-back shows. The concerts were sold out, the crowds were crazy (in a good way), and she seemed eager to return at some point soon.

THR reported that she gave an epic speech from the stage, letting the fans know she genuinely appreciates the support and love she received in the capital city.

Taylor Swift addresses Portugal's audience

“When I first walked out on this stage, when I first appeared at the beginning of the show, and I looked out and saw this crowd, you took my breath away,” Swift proclaimed on Friday night. “My heart was beating so fast. You just made me feel so lucky to be here with you tonight. Thank you so much for coming to this show.”

The Cruel Summer singer also explained what she's regretted from past tours.

“One of my favorite things about the Eras Tour is that, for me, it feels like going back through all of my favorite memories of getting to play shows for the last nearly 20 years of my life because we've gone on tour for almost every album I've ever put out,” she told the enthusiastic crowd. “My big regret was that we didn't get to take all of those tours to all of the places where I wanted to take them. And we absolutely should have come to Portugal on every single tour. This is not a mistake I will ever be making again. We are always going to come to Lisbon.”

During the second show on Saturday, Swift said, “I have to say, I've just never seen a crowd like this in my life. There have been moments in this show already where I, like, forget what I'm supposed to do next or what I'm supposed to say because I'm just so distracted by how much fun you're having and how you're performing in the audience. I love this.”

In the performance, she sang some new material from The Tortured Poets Department. The song Fresh Out the Slammer was a debut she saved for the Lisbon show surprise part of the night.

On X, the megastar wrote, “It's official, I left my heart in Lisbon. My first time in Portugal and you all made me feel like I was right at home. I'll seriously never forget the way you treated us, the overwhelming love and passion and hands in the air and dancing and how you screamed every lyric!! Muito obrigada.”

From here, she'll continue through Europe with shows in Madrid, Lyon, France, Edinburgh, Scotland, Liverpool, U.K., Cardiff, Wales, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Zurich, Milan, Gelsenkirchen Hamburg, Germany, Munich, Warsaw, Vienna, and back to London. Then, she'll head to Canada, where the tour ends on Dec 8 in Vancouver.

We'll see if Taylor Swift's upcoming stops can compete with the massive love she got from Portugal.
