The Tennessee Titans offseason should be a fun time for this franchise. They're in a great spot to remain at the top of the NFL and don't have many needs on the roster. This is a great opportunity for Tennessee to create a team capable of being competitive for years to come. For that reason, we take a look at our Titans' offseason predictions.

There is only one glaring weakness on the team right now. The tight end group failed to make much of an impact throughout the season. Tennessee should highly consider making some serious changes in this area, as it could be the difference-maker for the Titans Super Bowl hopes next year.

We'll see how it all plays out, but the Titans will be in great shape after fixing the tight end group. However, other moves we could see the front office make are improving the offensive line, acquiring more wide receiver talent, and extending two superstars to massive contracts. If they can manage that, Tennessee should remain as one of the best teams in the NFL next year.

With that said, here are four bold Titans offseason predictions.

Titans Offseason Predictions

4. Tennessee completely overhauls the tight end position

Don't be shocked if the Titans aim for a splash signing in free agency. There aren't any elite tight ends available in the free-agent market but Tennessee doesn't need a superstar in that position. As long as the front office brings in someone who can be a reliable pass option and block well, will get the job done.

Keep an eye on guys like David Njoku, and Dalton Schultz. Both of them have the skill set necessary to make some noise in the Titans offense. If Njoku and Schultz end up becoming available, Tennessee should jump on the opportunity to sign one of them in the offseason. From there, the front office can bring back some reliable blockers from the previous season and potentially draft an exciting rookie.

3. The team emphasizes adding youth to the offensive line

The offensive line isn't necessarily a need for the Titans this offseason, however, it wouldn't hurt to add some youth to the group. Considering Tennessee struggled in pass protection, there could be some changes made to the offensive line. Regardless, we should see most of the newly acquired linemen come through the NFL Draft.

2. Titans select a wide receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft

Outside of AJ Brown, the Titans wide receiver group is rather thin. Julio Jones struggled to stay healthy and has a chance to turn it around next year. Even so, Tennessee has a chance to make drastic improvements to their receiving core.

Luckily for the Titans, the 2022 NFL Draft class is stacked with big-bodied receivers. Tennessee has made an effort to bring in big receivers who can block downfield. If the right guy falls to them in the first round, we could see the front office pull the trigger and set up the offense for years to come.

1. Front office extends Jeffery Simmons and AJ Brown to massive contracts

Neither of their contracts expires in the offseason, but the Titans should consider extending Jeffery Simmons and AJ Brown immediately. Both of them have proven to be incredibly reliable and they deserve to be rewarded for their efforts. Extending Simmons and Brown would be a brilliant move and would guarantee them to remain in Tennessee for the long haul.
