The rash of NFL injuries just keeps on coming in Week 2 of the season. Now, Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor is out for the remainder of the game after hurting his hamstring. In turn, Davis Mills has replaced Taylor, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

This is unfortunate for the Texans as Tyrod Taylor has been absolutely marvelous in the early stage of the 2021 NFL campaign. In Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Taylor had a pair of touchdown passes in a shocking upset against Trevor Lawrence.

In Week 2, Taylor had a touchdown pass and a touchdown run but unfortunately came up hurt after the rushing score in the 2nd quarter.

Mills was selected in the 2021 NFL Draft and wasn't expected to play this early. But with Deshaun Watson a healthy inactive, as they await a decision with his legal issues, it is time for Mills to take the run at quarterback for the Texans as they try and stave off the Cleveland Browns.

The Texans had a tie against the Cleveland Browns thanks to the heroics of Tyrod Taylor, and turning to Davis Mills will be a tough task for this team and for the rookie against a grueling Browns defense.
