Deshaun Watson is not the only Houston Texans star deeply entrenched in trade rumors. On the other side of the ball, defensive end J.J. Watt is also being discussed in possible trades

Watt appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently, and when he was asked how he's dealing with reports that he's on his way out of H-Town, the 3-time Defensive Player of the Year  replied, “I process it by going to Hawaii for a week and I probably should have stayed there.”

Watt has never been one to mince his words. He says what he means and means what he says. Last December, the defender called out his teammates publicly for the team's poor performance. Later, he would apologize to Watson for the Texans wasting one of his prime years

Despite having the NFL passing-yards leader, Houston finished with a disappointing 4-11 record and missed the playoffs. The questionable trades made by the previous management did not help the Texans' cause either.

Watt is not the same game-wrecking defensive end he used to be. He has also had his struggles staying on the field due to injuries. Nonetheless, he is still a productive defender and could be a big difference-maker with the right team. Last season, Watt was able to start in 16 games. In the 2018 season, he recorded 16 sacks.

Seeing J.J. Watt in a different uniform next season would be an odd sight. After all, he was the face of the Texans for several years, which is surprising as 3-4 ends aren't the most noticeable for casual fans. Contending teams should think about getting Watt.
