The NBA continues to be in absolute shambles due to COVID-19. Because of this, numerous superstars won't be able to suit up on Christmas Day, including Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic, Trae Young, and possibly, Giannis Antetokounmpo. That being said, Minnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell offered a piece of advice to Adam Silver and the league in regards to their COVID rules and regulations:

The NFL recently just changed their testing guidelines which means now, vaccinated players who don't show any symptoms at all will not be tested. However, there has definitely been some backlash on this because as we know, you can still carry the virus without symptoms. Nevertheless, Russell wants to see the NBA follow a similar path.

This comes on the same day that LeBron James took to social media and shared a Spiderman meme where he basically lowkey threw a shot at the NBA for their protocols:

The King does have a point. Far too many players in the Association are getting COVID, could it be that some of them simply have a common cold or flu? Or is the Omicron variant actually affecting that many people?

Nevertheless, Russell clearly agrees with James. But unfortunately, it's hard to see the NBA following suit with the NFL. After all, they have 50+ guys on a roster. In the Association, there are just 15. Testing will likely continue, whether the players across the league like it or not.
