Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman has adjusted well to life in the NBA, so much so that the 7-foot-1 big man already has his most memorable moment from practice.

When asked about his favorite Dubs moment from the past few weeks, Wiseman came up with a very specific, yet unsurprising event:

Stephen Curry is one of the best players of his generation, and arguably the very best shooter in all of history. To be able to share the court with him can be considered as a privilege to anyone, and for Wiseman, it served as sort of his welcome to the NBA moment.

Wiseman, whom the Warriors selected second overall in the recently concluded NBA Draft, sat out Golden State's preseason opener against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. The 19-year-old reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and has yet to be cleared for game action. Teammate Draymond Green, who also allegedly returned a positive result, is also said to be under the league's COVID-19 protocol. Both players are expected to miss all of the Dubs' preseason games.

Wiseman and Green are already practicing with the squad, and both are fully expected to be ready for Golden State's season opener.

In his brief three-game collegiate stint with the Memphis Tigers, Wiseman averaged 19.7 points (on 76.9 percent shooting), 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per contest. He figures to play a significant role for head coach Steve Kerr's frontcourt this coming season. If all goes according to plan, he could end up as the Warriors' starting center sooner rather than later.
