Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson will miss two full seasons after two straight ACL injuries. The first came in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors which resulted in him missing all of last year. The second came in a pickup game during the off-season which has culminated in him missing this year as well.

In a shooting practice today, he hit 12-straight three-pointers. Klay Thompson's former teammate Kevin Durant commented on the former's Instagram with an NFSW comment. It's important to note that all his shots were without jumping and that pure stroke of his still there and seems ready to go.

Thompson responded to Durant's comment, poking fun at his NBA 2K season and that he can't make a jumper with him inside the video game. Durant and Thompson were teammates on the Warriors for three seasons resulting in two championships.

When healthy Thompson is one if not the best shooters in the NBA. He alongside Warriors superstar Stephen Curry provides the most lethal 1-2 scoring punches in the association. Known as the “Splash Brothers” Thompson and Curry are both deadly from behind the arc. It's worth noting that Klay Thompson holds the NBA record for most 3-pointers in a single game in both the regular season (14) and the playoffs (11).

Thompson is in the second of a five-year, $190 million maximum contract he signed with the Warriors back in 2019. The NBA is better with a healthy Klay Thompson and based on his recent viral video, the hope is that he can return to the court next year.
