Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson spoke up in the locker room after Kevin Durant and Draymond Green's heated argument on Monday, and he stressed the importance of sticking together, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Kevin Durant and Draymond Green exchanged words Monday during the Warriors' overtime loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center after Green turned the ball over at the end of regulation.

Durant, one of the best scorers arguably in NBA history, was clapping and yelling at Green to pass him the ball. Green never did, and that sparked the whole argument between the two All-Stars.

Klay Thompson, who is typically reserved, spoke up in the locker room to the surprise of his teammates about the altercation and stressed the importance of sticking together, sources said.

You know the situation is getting a little out of control when Klay Thompson is speaking up. The sharpshooter never talks and is always just minding his own business.

Without star point guard Stephen Curry, though, who is out with an adductor strain, Thompson probably knew he had to step in and say something. Green was reportedly yelling profanities at Durant.

There's never a dull moment when Draymond Green is on your team.
