San Francisco, CA – The Golden State Warriors had Monday night off. Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics became the first team to advance to the second round. They swept Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and the Brooklyn Nets.

Once the game ended, Stephen Curry decided to watch the postgame interviews. While watching, Tatum made a statement that Curry believes can help them beat the Denver Nuggets.

“I like the quote Jayson Tatum had yesterday after the game. He was talking about what he did to slow KD (Kevin Durant) down,” Curry explained to ClutchPoints. “He was like you have to approach KD of what he's capable of and not what he's doing. I like that quote.”

When Game 4 of the Warriors vs. Nuggets series began, the Dubs didn't come out with the sense of urgency to win the game. They nearly pulled it off at the end but came up short. Wednesday night, the Warriors want to end this series. Although Curry and his crew are up 3-1, they are looking at this game as a must-win.

“You got to approach Denver with what they're capable of if everybody's playing extremely well, and the level that they can get to. We got to match that and exceed it. If we want to close out and get it done tomorrow.”

The Nuggets will do everything they can to survive, and the Warriors are going to give it all they have to send them home. Tatum’s words might be enough to help the Warriors get the job done.
