The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are both in the midst of a massive slump in their seasons. For at least one night, Stephen Curry's men looked to be in even more of a hole than LeBron James and Co. in purple and gold.

Steph Curry was vocal after the game about the “concern level” for the Warriors after the backbreaking loss to the Lakers.

“Giving into a losing mentality,” said Stephen Curry on what Golden State needs to avoid. “We're not that team. I'm not going to let us beat that team. We've shown who we are in terms of how we started the season. I feel like we can obviously get back to that. That's the confidence that has to remain.

The Warriors looked like the best team in basketball in the early portion of the season, sporting an 18-2 record in their first 20 games and looking reminiscent to the 2015 team that made that magical run to the NBA championship. But it's hard to feel the same level of confidence for the team after four straight losses and going 2-8 in their last 10 overall.

“We cannot give into this like losing spirit of just finding different ways to lose basketball games cause the clock will tick out on you,” the Warriors star continued. “You go into the summer thinking what could've been, should've been. Having regrets. So I don't want to let us to get into that vibe. Obviously, with 18 games left we have to figure out how to turn things around pretty quickly.”

The Warriors are still awaiting the return of Draymond Green and are expected to have James Wiseman back soon. But Stephen Curry and the rest of the team are far too talented to be waiting on players on the sidelines before they start winning again.
