The Golden State Warriors are just one game away from advancing to the Western Conference semifinals. Head coach Steve Kerr has his team up 3-1 over the Los Angeles Clippers. Following the team's latest win, a 113-105 victory for the Warriors, Kerr made his way to the podium sporting quite a shirt. Anthony Davis isn't in the playoffs, but he became part of the conversation which ensued.

Kerr, who obviously couldn't help himself, wasted no time poking fun at current New Orleans Pelicans big man Anthony Davis when reporters began commenting on his “Spiritual Gangster” shirt.

While Steve Kerr and the Warriors continue to run through the Western Conference in search of the franchise's fourth consecutive conference title, Davis and the Pelicans failed to reach the postseason despite creating just as many — if not more — headlines than Golden State during the regular season. Of course, Anthony Davis was nearly traded midway through the season after specifically requesting a trade from New Orleans. However, the veteran big man was not moved. He finished yet another season as a member of the Pelicans.

Leading to all of the commotion, Anthony Davis was rumored to be on his way to the Los Angeles Lakers, joining superstar forward LeBron James. When this did not occur, the Pelicans and Lakers were unable to rebound down the stretch. Each Western Conference franchise missed the postseason.

It now remains to be seen as to whether Davis starts the 2019-20 campaign as a member of the Pelicans, with Steve Kerr and the Warriors currently pursuing yet another title.
