The whole NBA world was tuned in during Game 4 of the WNBA Finals between the Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury, with the likes of James Harden, Dwyane Wade, Ja Morant, Trae Young in disbelief of the thrilling finish they just witnessed.
Trailing by nine points entering the final period, the Sky staged an incredible fourth quarter run to not only erase the deficit but also take the lead in the dying minutes, which they never relinquished. Candace Parker had a vintage performance for her hometown team, registering a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds on top of five dimes.
It was an amazing comeback for the Sky, who ended the final quarter with a score of 25-11 to take the win and the WNBA Finals trophy, 80-74.

Parker shocked the whole WNBA when she chose to go back home and join the Sky, and the decision proved to be the right one as she has now won her second WNBA Finals trophy. It's also the first in Chicago history.

Aside from their historic first title, the Sky also became the first team to win the WNBA Finals without being the first or second seed. They finished the regular season at 16-16, putting them at No. 6 in the standings–behind the likes of Connecticut Sun, Las Vegas Aces, Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm and Phoenix Mercury.
It was an incredible finish to what has been a roller-coaster season for the Sky, but is undoubtedly a well-deserved victory.
