As the WWE inches closer and closer to their biggest show of the summer, SummerSlam, matches for their Big Four Premium Live Event are going to be announced with increasing frequency. Angles will be set up on RAW, on SmackDown, and even potentially on NXT 2.0, and the storylines for each will grow increasingly more entertaining with every passing opportunity.

Could one wrestler dent another's car? Or skip in front of another in line for catering and start a blood feud? Or maybe things will stay more traditional, and the feuds will simply be about good old-fashioned wrestling?

Or maybe, just maybe, the match announcements will be so inconsequential that they are literally announced on Twitter, sandwiched between an advertisement for VIP Packages for SummerSlam and a highlight gif of Tius O'Neal opening up RAW.

*sigh* they couldn't have just waited like half an hour to announce the match on RAW? It's not like a Riddle-Seth Rollins bout is completely out of left field; things have been pointing in that direction since the “Original Bro” RKO'd “Freakin” off the top of a ladder in Money in the Bank‘s main event, and they have wrestled on seven occasions since, including a match on RAW. Why not take five minutes on the show to set up the feud instead of relegating it to social media? It certainly would have saved the promotion quite a bit of negative PR and a few clowning comments on social media.

I mean, goodness, Riddle was literally booked for the KO Show on RAW half an hour into the show; why not just announce the match then?
