Mckenna Grace (Young Sheldon) will star in a new young adult film, Everything I Never Did.

Variety was the first to report Grace's involvement in the film. Everything I Never Did will be directed by Jeremy Sims and written by the duo of D.J. McPherson and Scott Taylor.

Spencer McLaren of Aspect Entertainment will produce the film. McPherson and Jack Christian will also produce on behalf of the new production company Filmology Features.

“Everything I Never Did is a bittersweet love story that throws away cliches and sparks with originality, spontaneity, and surprise,” the producers teased. “It tells the story of troubled teen Liam Black and Jenna Reid (Grace), a seriously ill girl, who together embark on a transformative journey of living and loving in the face of adversity.”

McPherson also added more. She seemed excited about the upcoming project. “We are thrilled to finally announce Everything I Never Did.’ It’s a project that is very close to our hearts, and we’re ecstatic to have Mckenna Grace leading our cast,” she said. “Her profound ability to connect with complex roles will breathe life into this poignant narrative. We are thrilled to see her bring Jenna to life on the big screen.”

Outside of Grace, further casting wasn't disclosed in the report. The same goes for film's distribution. With a name like Grace leading the project, studios will probably be lining up for it, though.

Who does Mckenna Grace play in Young Sheldon?

Mckenna Grace's biggest TV role, though, came in Young Sheldon. Since 2018, Grace has played Paige, the biggest rival of Sheldon's (Iain Armitage). She would appear sporadically throughout the series. However, she hasn't yet appeared in Young Sheldon's seventh and final season yet. It's unclear if she will.

She first gained notoriety for her role in Disney XD's Crash and Bernstein. She also had a role in The Young and the Restless early in her career. From there, Grace would have roles in K.C. Undercover, Once Upon a Time, Designated Survivor, Fuller House, and The Handmaid's Tale.

On the big screen, Grace has also landed several high-profile projects. She had roles in The Angry Birds Movie, Independence Day: Resurgence, and I, Tonya. In I, Tonya, Grace played a younger version of Margot Robbie's Tonya.

She also played younger versions of characters in Captain Marvel and Scoob. In the former, she played a younger version of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, and in the latter, she voiced a younger version of Daphne.

Her other film credits include Ready Player One, Annabelle Comes Home, Spirit Untamed, Malignant, and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.

She was also introduced into the Ghostbusters franchise in Afterlife. The film received a sequel in 2024, Frozen Empire. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and Carrie Coon also starred in the film. Annie Potts also reprised her role from the earlier films. Grace and Potts both star in Young Sheldon.
