People simply do not call Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo by the name of “Greek Freak” for nothing. On Tuesday night against star center DeAndre Jordan and the L.A. Clippers at Staples Center, Antetokounmpo showed off his insane athleticism and added yet another highlight-worthy play to his amazing 2017-18 season.

Right after Jordan blocked the shot of Bucks forward Khris Middleton at one end of the floor, Jordan raced down to the other end and tried to put up a shot off the glass. Unfortunately for Jordan, the Antetokounmpo was there to get up high and block the center’s shot attempt.

A video of the impressive defensive play, which was uploaded to the NBA’s official Twitter account, can be viewed below.

As for the rest of the game, the Bucks were able to battle back in the third quarter and actually take an 82-78 lead over the Clippers into the final frame. Despite Giannis’ stellar all-around night, it was simply not enough to get the job done down the stretch as Milwaukee fell 105-98 on the road.

Regardless, Antetokounmpo put up some really good numbers on the night with a game-high 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting, nine rebounds, seven assists, and a whopping five blocked shots in only 29 minutes of action.

The Bucks will have Wednesday night off before they travel north to take on the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Thursday night in another nationally-televised contest on TNT.

The Warriors’ superstar forward in Kevin Durant has already said that he’ll be available to play in that game, making it a must-see affair between two of the league’s most imposing athletes.
