The 2024 NFL Draft class is full of talent and a lot of fans cannot wait to see them in action. One receiver by the name of Marvin Harrison Jr. in particular has caught the eyes of many football enthusiasts since his run with the Ohio State football program. He has now made his way to the league where he will catch bombs from Kyler Murray in the Jonathan Gannon-led Arizona Cardinals system.

Clearly, a lot of the Cardinals fans cannot wait for Marvin Harrison Jr. to get out on the field for opening night. However, the rookie receiver under Jonathan Gannon might have been spotted earlier. He has made plans to play as many preseason games alongside the other members of the Cardinals offense, per Darren Urban of the NFL. The former Ohio State football star even thinks that college football should conduct preseason games such that most players are ready when the campaign starts.

Most people are expecting Harrison Jr. to pop off and produce big numbers for the Cardinals. While that expectation will never be removed because of his partnership with Kyler Murray, the young receiver just wants to be a team player.

“Everybody has individual goals. Here, it's team-first, so whatever my goals might be, I try to put the team first. They brought me here to win, so that's my No. 1 goal, to help this team win football games. If I open things up for other players, that's great, because that's helping the team win,” he said.

Rookies fresh from the NFL Draft are usually prone to a lot of mistakes. But, Harrison might just be the outlier in this situation. Drew Petzing was amazed at how much veteran acumen the young gun had after some days of practice.

“You don't have to push him to work, to study, to prepare. That's part of who he is. It's like he's been here for years,” the Cardinals offensive coordinator proclaimed.

Harrison has one big philosophy that he carried over to the Cardinals from the Ohio State football program. A lot of it has to do with confidence.

“There is definitely a confidence element that you have to have to play football – any sport, really. For me, I try to go out and get better every single day. I don't really think about who I am, I think about what I am trying to be. I appreciate all the praise from those guys, but me, I'm thinking about where I am trying to get to,” he noted.

A great career is ahead for this Cardinals rookie.
