There's a Cher memoir being worked on by Cher herself.

On a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the singer disclosed that she's working on her memoir, PEOPLE reports.

Cher ‘chickened out' on writing her memoir

Apparently, she had a go at writing one earlier but then “chickened out” while drafting it.

She confessed all of this to Fallon while on the show to promote her new Christmas album.

“I just totally chickened out,” the pop icon said. “I didn't put in some things that needed to be put in. And they're not comfortable, but they need to be put in, so I have to go back and man up.”

It sounds like she'll be including all the essentials to her memoir after all.

Cher added, “I've lived too long and done too much and so it's like it should be the encyclopedia.” She said, “Not that you guys know what that is.”

As for what the singer is also up to, she recently performed at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. During the show, she sang a new Christmas song, according to CNN Entertainment. It was her new single, DJ Play a Christmas Song.

The performance drew some criticism since a few parts seemed lip-synced since the singer didn't have the microphone near her mouth. However, that's nothing new for the parade. Many performers have lip-synced for the live broadcast.

We'll be awaiting the new Cher memoir. It doesn't have a name yet, but at least she's working on it again.
