Cooper Kupp’s Wife Anna Kupp

Cooper Kupp is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today. He proved that in 2021 when Cooper helped the Los Angeles Ram win the Super Bowl title. In addition to a productive season that saw him earn the triple crown, Cooper was also named the Finals MVP. While Cooper is making a name for himself in the NFL, there has been a woman by his side to support him even before he entered the NFL. Anna and Cooper reportedly met each other during their high school days in a track meet. Since then, the couple’s love for each other has grown. 

Anna Kupp was born in Kennewick, Washington. She attended Richland High School and graduated in 2012. During her high school days, Anna was very active in sports as she participated in the school’s basketball, volleyball, and track teams. As part of the track team, Anna thrived in 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, javelin and long jump.

After graduating, Anna eventually went to college at the University of Arkansas. But due to her desire to be with Cooper, Anna eventually transferred to Eastern Washington University. Here, Anna studied communications, majoring in Public Relations. While doing so, she also represented EWU in Track and Field. 

For transferring to EWU, Anna reportedly had to give up two years of course credits that weren’t transferable. However, her sacrifices didn’t stop there. While attending college, Anna had to also work in a restaurant to financially support the couple while Cooper was busy with his college football career. Eventually, Anna was promoted to store manager in that restaurant.

Aside from working in a restaurant, Anna also worked as a youth track coach as well. Given her background in the sport, Anna was fit for the job as she guided and trained children. And on top of these jobs, according to her LinkedIn profile, Anna also worked for athletic apparel company, lululemon, as a Key Leader for more than a year. Although it was difficult to be a working student, Anna still defied all challenges by graduating with flying colors. In fact, she graduated from EWU with the highest honors of Summa Cum Laude.

Due to the couple’s love for each other, Anna eventually married Cooper after their sophomore year. On June 20, 2015 the couple tied the knot with Cooper and Anna only aged 22 and 21, respectively. 

Marrying young may not be ideal for many. However, Cooper and Anna thought differently.

According to ESPN, Anna responded, “A lot of people ask, ‘Why did you guys get married so young? Didn't you feel you were missing out?  And you're telling them, ‘No, we actually think the opposite. We feel so lucky to have found someone that we love and cherish so much so early.”

Although there were challenges, the couple remained strong together. When Cooper sprained his shoulder, Anna was there to tend to him to make him feel more comfortable in terms of providing pillows and helping him dress up. Aside from this, the couple also managed to financially support themselves without asking for financial assistance from their parents which only made their bond stronger. 

Fast forward to the present, Anna’s husband is a Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP. The couple also has two kids together in Cooper Jr. and Cypress. On the other hand, Anna is also in the midst of establishing herself as a public relations specialist for athletes and teams. 

Aside from this, Anna and Cooper have also been involved in the sports apparel market. They partnered with Refried Apparel. And on top of that, the couple also released their own apparel line. Outside of sports, Anna and Cooper also partnered with Operation Warm, a fundraiser that provides children in Yakima, WA brand new coats. The donation drive has garnered $5,618 more than their original goal of $10,000. 

Cooper Kupp has broken out of his shell and made a name for himself in the NFL. And according to his Instagram post, Cooper cherishes the sacrifices made by his wife. While Cooper has achieved a lot in the NFL, there’s no question that Anna is a well-accomplished woman herself. Anna thrived in school and in her career.
