Sometimes, you just have to let the naysayers continue to talk and doubt you. That seems to be totally fine with the Philadelphia Eagles, as they are more than happy to embrace their underdog role once again in their matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Sunday's upcoming NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles, who were the first-ever No. 1 seed labeled as underdogs in this past weekend's home divisional round matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, smothered MVP quarterback Matt Ryan and the Dirty Birds' high-powered offense en route to a gritty 15-10 victory on Saturday.

Philly Pro Bowl right tackle Lane Johnson, who donned a dog mask after the Eagles' victory over the Falcons, was right on point with his prediction. The Eagles will not be favored, as Vegas currently has them as 3.5-point underdogs at home against the Vikings.

Via an article written by ESPN staff writer Tim McManus:

“I would imagine we're probably not going to be favored next week, either,” Johnson said. “At this point in the season, it really don't matter. It's anybody's game.”

Johnson will have his dog mask ready for this weekend's game against the Vikings at Lincoln Financial Field, as the Pro Bowler took to Twitter after Minnesota's miraculous 29-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints as time expired.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who recently said that he could care less what the doubters outside of the Philly locker room were saying about him and the team, has the full support of head coach Doug Pederson following star quarterback Carson Wentz's ACL tear during Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams.

“When did Carson go down? Since that point, no one's given us a chance,” coach Pederson said following the Eagles' win over the Falcons. “I understand Carson's a great player, but every week our guys are hearing the same thing. Now, all of a sudden, we're not good enough? We're 13-3, best record in football, home-field advantage throughout.

“The guys are gonna motivate themselves based on what they've heard for the last month. It really doesn't matter what you guys talk about because [our] locker room is united. I'll go to bat for every one of those guys. I'll go to war for every one of those guys in that dressing room.”

Talk is cheap, as the Eagles will look to prove their doubters wrong once again and punch their ticket to Super Bowl LII.
