The highly-anticipated sequel to 2019's Captain Marvel has apparently begun filming according to Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson.
During an interview for Sirius XM, Larson stated that she was getting up early to head to work and that the sets for The Marvels are larger than life. Check out a clip from the interview below:

“They're unlike anything else. Huge sets. Huge amounts of people on set. Lots of specialists,” Larson said. “It's a really unique experience. I'm a huge fan of Disneyland, so to me it feels like I get to go to my own private Disneyland every single day. Because they're building all of these insane worlds that no one else knows about, no one else gets to see. You'll see it when the movie comes out but for now, it's just mine. I'm in sets that are bigger than you can imagine right now. It's really special.”
Larson is set to return as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel. However, she won't be the only lead character for the sequel. Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau, whose mother was Carol's best friend, will be making her big-screen debut as well as Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel.
Parris debuted in WandaVision earlier this year and Vellani will lead a solo Ms. Marvel show on Disney+ before appearing in The Marvels.
We've said it before and we'll say it again. The MCU is an unstoppable force and it seems like nothing will stop that train. Hopefully, the sequel will be just as good as the first film, if not better.
