After just recently being listed as questionable, Giants quarterback Mike Glennon is set to start in Week 14. Patricia Traina of Sports Illustrated tweeted Friday evening that he was cleared from concussion protocol.

This is good news for the Giants, who just recently listed Daniel Jones and Kadarius Toney out for Sunday. Jones, who hasn't played since New York's Week 12 game against Philadelphia, is dealing with a neck injury. He could possibly return for Week 15 against divisional opponents in the Cowboys.

Toney is also expected to return next week. He hasn't been active for the Giants since Week 11. This is due to an oblique injury, which has forced him to miss two games (Week 14 will make it three games) and multiple practices throughout the past few weeks. Thursday was the wide receiver's first practice since Week 11, and he was limited.

The Giants, now led by Glennon, will attempt to take a road win against Justin Herbert and the Chargers. This will be Glennon's second start for the Giants this season, following his performance in Week 13. He threw for 187 yards and one interception in the Giants' 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Glennon sustained his concussion during the Week 13 loss.

This definitely isn't the Giants' ideal situation for Sunday, but at this point, he is their best chance at success. That being said, the Chargers aren't in the best situation either. While they have their starting quarterback, Los Angeles has had a difficult time with COVID-19 recently. Their top receiver, Keenan Allen, was just officially ruled out for Sunday's matchup after testing positive for the virus.
