In a wild turn of events, the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos reached an agreement on Monday. Von Miller, superstar outside linebacker is being sent off to LA in a trade package. Both teams get what they want right before the 2021 NFL trade deadline.

In the deal, the Rams walk away with an elite pass rusher as they boost their defense for a Super Bowl run. On the other hand, the Denver Broncos receive a second and third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, which should help the front office continue building this young roster.

With that said, we go over our Rams-Broncos trade grades on this deal that happened just before the 2021 NFL trade deadline.

Rams Trade Grade: B+

The Los Angeles Rams receive a B+, as this is phenomenal addition for their defense. LA now has Jalen Ramsey, Aaron Donald, and Von Miller all on the same roster. This is an obvious move the front office has made as they're aiming for a Super Bowl run this year.

However, it's not the most ideal scenario either. Von Miller has been nursing an ankle injury lately on the same leg he received a season-ending injury a year ago. We'll see how he adjusts to playing for the Rams. If he can stay healthy, Los Angeles just became an even more dangerous team in the NFL.

Broncos Trade Grade: A-

This was a fantastic deal for the Denver Broncos. They're clearly not going to win the Super Bowl this year (or even make the playoffs), so why not sell valuable assets for draft picks?

With the state this franchise is in, clearing up cap space and acquiring draft capital is necessary for their future. Denver is paying roughly $9 million of Miller's salary while he's in LA, but his contract will be gone heading into the 2022 offseason. Miller isn't the same pass rusher he used to be, so acquiring a second-round pick and third-round pick makes this a great deal for the Broncos.
