Ice Spice has revealed the release date for her much-teased debut album: Y2K! is out on July 26 (via 10K Projects/Capitol Records), Billboard reports. Since the New York sensation shocked the world with hit song, Munch, her ascension has been steady but sure. Even though many dubbed Munch as a simple TikTok song, no one thought it would be able to propel her this far.
The newcomer also already found herself involved in beef, something usually reserved for more veteran players in the music industry. In fact, the beef may still be going between Latto and Ice Spice, with “Think U the Sh-t (Fart)” taking aim at Latto.
Ice Spice's rise hasn't just been about controversy; it's also about delivering hits. Her debut EP, Like..?, released in July 2023, showcased her potential and versatility, leading to a deluxe expansion that further solidified her status as a rising star.
