It's been an interesting time for the Jacksonville Jaguars lately. Not only were they the worst team in the league this year, but there doesn't seem to be much hope for the franchise to turn things around. Ownership and the front office have led this team into multiple walls and are now fumbling around with their head coaching search.

After multiple candidates have already found jobs, the Jaguars might be scrambling at the moment. According to Adam Schefter, Jacksonville was hoping they could interview the Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell. However, they'll have to wait for now, as LA is heading to the Super Bowl.

Because they missed an opportunity to interview O'Connell in the first interviewing window, the Jaguars are unable to speak with Kevin O'Connell. This isn't a great look, especially since some of Jacksonville's top candidates have already taken jobs elsewhere. Instead, the team will be interviewing Rich Bisaccia, who did a great job with the Las Vegas Raiders as the interim head coach, per Tom Pelissero.

Bisaccia isn't a terrible head coaching candidate, however, he is clearly not the Jaguars' first choice. Jacksonville could rid away their headaches if they were to fire general manager Trent Baalke, as none of the candidates seem interested in working alongside him.

Jacksonville may have hired Byron Leftwich by now, but the rumors of him only wanting the job if Baalke is fired could be the reason why he hasn't signed yet. This is just another example of how the Jaguars are butchering their head coaching search.

With the fan base turning on ownership, the Jaguars franchise has become a sinking ship that nobody wants to be a part of. Jacksonville will eventually find a new head coach, but it might not be someone that excites the fans.

Considering the Jaguars are interested in Kevin O'Connell, we might see the front office wait until after the Super Bowl to hire their head coach. This is not ideal for a franchise that is struggling as hard as Jacksonville right now.
