With a Los Angeles Chargers Week 15 showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on the slate for Thursday, both sides will be eager to continue their strong run of form. Ahead of the Chargers-Chiefs game, we have some Chargers Week 15 predictions.
The Chargers enter this one having won back-to-back games and three of their last four. The offense has been red hot of late, managing to pile on 37 points against the New York Giants despite not having Keenan Allen or Mike Williams available. Justin Herbert continues to stun fans with his rocket of an arm and has shown that as long as a receiver can hold onto the bullet passes he throws, he will get the ball into their hands.

Los Angeles sits at 8-5 on the season, just one game behind the Chiefs in the AFC West. A win on Thursday could see them tie up the division heading into the final stretch of the season, though it will be no easy task taking down Kansas City, who are enjoying their own six-game winning streak. With multiple offensive weapons due to return to the fray, the Chargers have a chance of putting an end to the Chiefs' run.
The Chargers are just one game ahead of the Broncos, and two games ahead of the Raiders in the clustered AFC West race, so a strong performance will be critical towards protecting their spot in the playoff hunt. With all that in mind, here are our Los Angeles Chargers Week 15 predictions.

Los Angeles Chargers Week 15 Predictions
4. Austin Ekeler scores two touchdowns
Austin Ekeler's ability as a dual threat will be critical for the Chargers on Thursday night. Having the versatile running back able to pick up big yardage out of the backfield or act as a weapon in the passing game could end up causing nightmares for the Chiefs' defense, who will have to keep him in mind on every single play. Last time Ekeler faced the Chiefs, he picked up 55 rushing yards on just 11 carries, while also catching six passes for 52 yards and a touchdown. The 100+ scrimmage-yard performance went a long way towards Los Angeles winning the game 30-24, and he should play an equally vital role in Week 15. While he's been dealing with an ankle injury, Ekeler practiced on Wednesday, which bodes well for his availability on Thursday. We're predicting Ekeler to have a big night once again, finding the end zone twice against KC.
3. Asonte Samuel Jr. picks off Patrick Mahomes again
Patrick Mahomes' accuracy has been somewhat of a concern this year. While the former MVP has reduced his turnover count of late, he did throw two interceptions during the Week 3 matchup against the Chargers. Rookie DB Asante Samuel Jr. was one of the players able to come down with a takeaway against Mahomes back in September, and based on the latest injury report he should be active again on Thursday, despite having missed the past few weeks. If Samuel can suit up for the game, he'll be looking to improve his already-sterling record against Mahomes by coming away with another big defensive play.
2. Joey Bosa will get two sacks and a forced fumble
Joey Bosa has been a force in the trenches all season and will look to continue that trend during Thursday's primetime battle. He recorded 0.5 sacks in his previous meeting with the Chiefs, logging two quarterback hits in the game, and we're predicting he will be even more impactful in Week 15. With 8.5 sacks under his belt this season, including 5.0 in his last six games, Bosa has been doing his thing and overpowering offensive linemen with ease of late. The Ohio State product also has three forced fumbles in his past five games, and will be hoping to punch the ball out of the grasp of a Chiefs player on Thursday night. In a rivalry game with so much on the line for the division, he'll have some added motivation to wreak havoc in the trenches and make Mahomes' night as difficult as possible.
1. Justin Herbert leads the Chargers to an overtime win
These two teams will be going tooth and nail, and the play of the teams' star quarterbacks will be influential in the outcome of the game. While Mahomes has been on fire of late, Herbert has been equally impressive and will look to one-up his division rival and give the Chargers the series sweep over the Chiefs. Herbert lit up the Chiefs' secondary en-route to four touchdowns and 281 passing yards in Week 3, and he'll have the chance to put up similar, or better, numbers in Week 15. The Chiefs' defense has vastly improved of late, but they'll be meeting Herbert during a hot streak of his own. The former Oregon Duck has thrown 11 touchdown passes over the past four weeks, racking up more than 1,200 yards during that span. He is locked in right now, and while the Chiefs will likely get their own offense flowing, Herbert and the Chargers should be able to edge out Mahomes and KC, even if takes overtime to do so.
