After playing just two minutes against the San Antonio Spurs on Mar. 8, Stephen Curry exited the game with an ankle injury. As the Golden State Warriors are dealing with significant injuries in the final 11 games of the 2017-18 NBA season, Curry will play against Atlanta Hawks following a six-game absence.
With Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all out against the Hawks, Curry reveals his ankle is still not 100 percent, but it will not change from now to the end of June according to Melissa Rohlin of Bay Area News Group:
Steph Curry on his ankle: "If you're being really nitpicky, it's definitely not 100 percent. There's nothing that's going to happen between now and the end of June that's going to change that."

However, Curry feels he can still be the same player when he officially returns:

Stephen Curry on his ankle: "When it comes to me just being the player I want to be, doing the moves I want to do, making the cuts that I want to make and stuff like that — I can do all of that stuff right now."

Although the Warriors have four All-Star players in their prime, the journey to their fourth consecutive NBA Finals appearance will take a mental and physical toll on any team. Prior to the All-Star break against the Phoenix Suns, head coach Steve Kerr even had his players coach in an effort to reach them, which was a controversial decision.
As the Houston Rockets have a four-game lead on the Warriors in the Western Conference, Golden State has shown they are capable of beating teams on the road in the playoffs. At this point, the focus is on getting completely healthy and hopefully get a couple regular season games in.
With two championships in three seasons, the path to their third is much more challenging, but the Warriors have an opportunity to establish themselves as the NBA's next dynasty.
