Cornerback Jalen Ramsey is still a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite requesting a trade out. Though a trade doesn't appear imminent, his request to get out of Duval county remains.

Ramsey confirmed his trade request on the UNINTERRUPTED podcast on Thursday, via Mark Long of the Associated Press:

“I'm not sure if I've played my final game for the Jags yet or not but my trade request still stands. For me, respect is a huge thing. … Once respect is lost for both parties, I think it is time to part ways.

I'm going to continue being a top corner in this league for years to come,” Ramsey continued. “The money will come, but money isn't everything. Peace and happiness means a lot more than the money.”

After the Jaguars Week 2 loss to the Houston Texans, ESPN‘s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported his request. Days later, Josina Anderson of ESPN mentioned Ramsey didn't believe he'll be on the Jaguars by their Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos.
Ramsey played in Week 3 for the Jaguars. Leading up to that game, team owner Shad Khan stated his desire to lock up the 24-year-old cornerback with an All-Pro and two Pro-Bowls to his name. However, he clearly wants out, despite Khan saying he wants to pay him; which plays into his trade request.
Leading up to the Week 4 game, Ramsey has missed practice due to illness and, more recently, the birth of his child. It's unknown if him missing is correlated with the trade request.
