Marqise Lee is on the long road to recovery, but he's not approaching the end of it yet. Speaking to reporters after a recent minicamp practice, Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Lee won't be ready by the time training camp starts.

Marrone also said the team isn't anticipating left tackle Cam Robinson being ready either. Lee had a tough year last season, as he went down with an ACL tear in the preseason and missed the entire campaign. It was especially disappointing since he was slated to be the top wideout in Jacksonville.

If he can get back at some point during training camp and prove he's fully healthy, he should still be able to emerge as the number one option. The Jags' offense should look a lot different next year, and getting Lee back will be a huge part of that.

He was able to be pretty productive in 2016 and 2017 even with Blake Bortles under center, so he should hopefully be able to breakout with Nick Foles now taking the reigns. In 14 games two seasons ago, Lee had 56 catches for 702 yards and three touchdowns.

He was a big part of the team that made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game, and the Jags will be very happy to have him back. Robinson is another key player who also tore his ACL last season. Robinson tore his in Week 2, which was a big blow to his development.

The 2017 second round pick started 15 games as a rookie, but didn't play well. Last year was supposed to be his breakout and coaches were excited about his development, but it was over before it could really get started. If he can return to full health and show improvement from his rookie season, it'll be huge news for the Jags.
