New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. still doesn’t have his long-term deal heading into training camp. But the star wideout doesn’t intend to hold out.

According to Kimberly Jones of NFL Network, Beckham will indeed report on time to Giants training camp Wednesday.

“He wants to play football, he wants to win,” a source close to Beckham said, per Jones.

OBJ himself already confirmed last month that he would be at camp. However, there was some speculation that Beckham could still hold out for his new deal. But it seems as though Beckham will be true to his word.

With no lucrative long-term deal still in place, Beckham is set to make a base salary of $8.459 million on his fifth-year option.

The Giants reportedly still want to see that Beckham is back to his very best following last year's season-ending ankle injury before signing him to a huge contract that will likely make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league. Unless they have a change of heart, it seems unlikely that they come to terms on that deal in the foreseeable future.

But for now, it looks as if Beckham is willing to set aside his contract concerns in order to prepare for the season and get back to winning ways with the Giants. New York went a disastrous 3-13 last year after he missed most of the season due to injury. However, they've retooled this offseason to prevent their offense from being too OBJ-dependent.

They've added running back Saquon Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick, as well as offensive linemen Nate Solder and Will Hernandez. They're also expecting more growth from young playmakers Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram. And if OBJ can prove he's back to his All-Pro best post-injury, the Giants have the potential to make some noise this year.
