Aaron Rodgers may be out on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it looks like the Green Bay Packers will be getting another integral piece of their offense back. Davante Adams is at practice on Thursday and is expected to play in Week 9:

This is absolutely huge for the Packers. A matchup with the Chiefs will be tough in itself, but having their best wide receiver available is vital. Adams missed last weekend's game as Green Bay handed the Arizona Cardinals their first loss of the season. He was placed in COVID-19 protocols a week ago Monday but evidently has cleared them.

Rodgers meanwhile tested positive for the virus which means Jordan Love will be handed the keys to the offense this weekend. The second-year QB has taken just seven snaps in 2021. Adams meanwhile is leading the Packers' receiving group with 52 receptions and 744 yards for an average of 14.3 per catch. He's also collected three touchdowns.

Love will have no shortage of options out wide or in the backfield in Week 9 but it remains to be seen if he can step up in the absence of Rodgers. The Chiefs' defense is struggling immensely this season and Green Bay should certainly be looking to put their fair share of points up on the board.
