The Los Angeles Rams may have lost Robert Woods this offseason but the signing of Allen Robinson figures to help them make up for it. But how will Robinson fit alongside star Rams wideout Cooper Kupp? The newest Rams pass-catcher answered that very question during an appearance on the Jim Rome Show, per Rams Wire.

“We’ve been able to feed off each other off the get-go,” he said. “Being able to just sit down, talk football as we’re watching and going over different routes, seeing different angles. I think that’s the biggest thing is the two of us are guys that are very versatile across the board. We both can do a lot of different things and I think that gives us a tremendous advantage because it’s not predictable at all to what either of us will be doing when it comes to a particular concept.”

Robinson said that he and Kupp will have a big advantage over defenses because they are “very versatile.” Both excellent route-runners, Kupp is more of shifty receiver on the inside while Robinson is more of a big-bodied, possession-style wideout on the outside.

On paper, the combination figures to be a deadly one, especially if Robinson returns to the form that saw him produce 102 receptions and 1250 yards back in 2020.

Sounds like a nightmare-inducing scenario for defensive coordinators in 2022.
