Attention all Swifties, those cameras at her concert weren't just for show. Taylor Swift made a splash on social media by announcing that her iconic Eras Tour film will hit the big screen in U.S. theaters, premiering on Friday, October 13th.

“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon.”

Unlike usual short concert screenings, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film will have extensive daily showings at AMC Theatres across the U.S., mainly on Thursdays through Sundays. Numerous Imax and Dolby Cinema sites within the chain will also feature the film, guaranteeing an immersive experience. Tickets are available for purchase on AMCTheatres.com and Fandango. Prices range from $19.89 for adults to $13.13 for children and seniors for standard screenings, with additional charges for Imax and Dolby Cinema showings.

Given the high demand for her tour and potential issues like those with Ticketmaster, AMC Theatres has made preparations to manage the expected rush. The company upgraded its website and ticketing systems to accommodate high traffic. Yet, owing to the historically immense demand from Swifties, delays and outages might still happen while purchasing tickets.

AMC plans to distribute the Eras Tour film to independent theaters too. Cinemark, Cineplex, Cinepolis, and more theaters are likely to join before the October premiere.

The precise runtime is still unknown, but Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film could include her entire three-and-a-half-hour setlist with about 45 songs. Sam Wrench, who directed concert films for Billie Eilish, BTS, Lizzo, and others, will be Swift's director as well.
