Nate Diaz finds himself in a bit of a tricky situation with the UFC and his future in fighting. There have been talks of him fighting Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.

Nate Diaz was recently asked about fighting Conor McGregor in a trilogy fight in the UFC. He doesn't appear to be interested in that kind of fight next.

“Not right now,” Diaz told Adam’s Apple when asked about facing McGregor again in the UFC. “He’s got a lot of work to do.”

The Stockton native was asked about his current UFC contract situation. It's currently unclear what he plans to do with his fighting career as he has dropped hints about retirement and boxing. He was also asked who he would potentially be fighting next.

“I’m on my last fight on my [UFC] contract right now,” Diaz said. “I would like to fight Dustin Poirier now. Next month when shit changes or people win and start doing something entertaining, or something going on, it’s all going to be different, I’m sure.”

The frustration of not fighting in the UFC is getting to Nate Diaz and it's a big reason why he has been so vocal on social media. If he can't fight them in real life he may as well go after them on the internet.

“That shit’s obnoxious to me,” Diaz said of social media. “For me, I got a bigger following than the rest of the people and they’re not letting me fight, so what do I got to do? I’ve got to shit on them from the internet.”
