13-year NBA veteran and former NBA champion Channing Frye had an interesting take on the 2020-21 Golden State Warriors led by the one and only Stephen Curry.

According to Alex Espinoza of NBC Sports, Frye was expressing his thoughts on what this season's success or failure for Curry's Warriors would mean for his legacy:

“Yes they won championships, I guess that’s all that matters,” Frye said. “But I think at the end, I’m just saying this as someone on the outside, it almost looks like it diminishes everything that was accomplished beforehand. It takes away the lore of the Warriors. Until the Warriors go back without him, it’s like, ‘Well, you had to have a stacked team with five Hall of Famers on it.’ … This is the question, and this is unfair, but can Steph do that now?”

Frye went on to compare Curry's teammate situation with LeBron James' teammates he played with and what he was able to accomplish:

Though Frye was met with a lot of criticism for his comments on Curry's legacy, that did not stop Frye from giving his haters a piece of his mind:

This did not sit well with Warriors supporters, especially the last tweet that Frye posted regarding his questioning when the Warriors last were considered a losing franchise:

While Frye takes on all of Warriors Nation, the Dubs will continue to do the best they can with the resources they have. Curry, who is one of the best shooters to ever play the game, will have to lead the Warriors if they want a chance at making it to the playoffs, regardless of what anyone has to say.
