Stephen Curry is critical with the officiating in the Golden State Warriors' overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center, even calling it “embarrassing.”
There were plenty of controversial calls throughout the game that has gone in favor of the home team. In fact, in the closing stages of the match, there were two questionable calls that gave the Timberwolves the advantage: first was Kevin Durant's four-point play that was waived and the other was a foul by KD on Karl-Anthony Towns with 0.5 seconds left.
Curry questioned the referees' antics, as it seemed they don't want to communicate with the players — something which the two-time MVP said is necessary for proper officiating. Steph used Draymond Green's technical foul in the third quarter as an example to prove his point.

Sure enough, the Warriors could only blame themselves after wasting a 19-point lead. However, Stephen Curry makes a strong case with his latest remarks, especially in today's NBA when the players and referees seem to be butting heads most of the time.
Controversial officiating like the one that happened in the Warriors-Timberwolves game certainlydoesn't help the league. Nonetheless, it should at least push the NBA to provide stricter guidelines for their game officials and come up with new solutions to resolve conflicts between players and referees.
