Ever since Tama Tonga and then Tonga Loa arrived in WWE from New Japan Pro Wrestling to help fortify Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline, Paul Heyman has been wondering one question and one question alone: when will Roman Reigns return?

Granted, Heyman hasn't been too particular about the situation, as he has continued to work with Sikoa and the Gorillas of Destiny despite asking multiple performers, from Kevin Owens to CM Punk, to “save” him from the situation, but that felt like a mixture of loyalty to Reigns and fear of the “Street Champ,” as opposed to any true love for the new “Tribal Chief's” business model.

Well, on the Chicago edition of SmackDown less than a week after Clash at the Castle, Sikoa laid it out plainly, letting Heyman and the fans watching along at home know that “Roman isn't coming back,” an ominous message made all the more so by the new leader of the faction marching down to the ring for his match against Cody Rhodes.

What did he mean? Is Reigns simply over being in WWE, as his actions would suggest over the past few years? Or did Sikoa do something to make sure that was the case, be that through insult, injury, or some sort of tribal imprisonment on the “Island of Relevancy?”

While fans pondered the question, they didn't have to ponder how Sikoa will stay on top, as after his match with Rhodes turned into straight-up bedlam, Sikoa debuted the latest member of The Bloodline on the WWE Universe in Jacob Fatu, his actual cousin and a former MLW World Champion who just might be the most athletic wrestler in the world in his weight class.

After making quick work on Team Cody, smashing Kevin Owens onto the metal ring steps with a Fireman's Carry before crashing Randy Orton through the barricades with a spear that would make Bron Breakker blush and slashing Rhodes through the announce table, Fatu flashed the 1s with Sikoa to pledge his commitment to the faction, letting fans know who he will be riding with moving forward.

What does WWE have planned for Fatu, who already looks like a fan favorite? Only time will tell, but considering how dominant he looked in his first-ever appearance, it's safe to say the “Samoan Werewolf” came to WWE after a long run on the indies to fight.

Rikishi is excited to see Jacob Fatu in WWE with Solo Sikoa and co.

With the news of Jacob Fatu signing with WWE the worst kept secret in professional wrestling, with promoters, reporters, and fans alike all learning that the “Samoan Werewolf” was Bloodline-bound back on WrestleMania 40 weekend, Rikishi took to his Off The Top podcast to discuss the news and declare that he hoped to see his nephew get his flows on RAW or SmackDown, even if he didn't necessarily start his run with Solo Sikoa and company.

“I kind of see Jacob, because of all the speculations of him jumping into The Bloodline, I kind of see Jacob coming in alone. I see Jacob, be it SmackDown or Raw, just coming back into that old TV match. Three minutes, annihilate people. Just go to Raw, three minutes, annihilate people. So he’s not really with a brand because if he stays stuck in the brands, and they announce that he’s with Raw, now you kind of already, ‘Okay, when is he gonna go with Jey?’” Rikishi asked via Fightful.

“But if he’s committed to SmackDown, the fans are gonna say, ‘When is he gonna go with The Bloodline?’ So he needs to come in different. I kind of see Jacob, honestly, I would love to see Jacob run through top talent on the roster, on both sides, and then finally, when the time is right, that he would be involved into The Bloodline. Meaning going up against either The Rock or Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa. You gotta give that match to them. In order for people to get the best out of Jacob, my feeling is, Jacob needs to dance with family members because now, his comfort level, he can trust Roman to take care of him as far as whatever, Jimmy. There’s not that much pressure. But when you’re dancing with somebody else that you didn’t grow up with, and it’s a name, now you got that in the back of your head. Is this guy here? Is he trying to take too much? Am I giving him too much? He sees me being built up, is he just gonna be a selfish wrestler and try to take me? Here’s what I’m gonna say to people like that. In case they go that route, I’m gonna say to all the wrestlers out there, if you don’t know my nephew Jacob, listen, he was a street hustler, street fighter. Hardcore was Jacob before hardcore. He’s not afraid of anybody.”

While Rikishi's suggestion didn't ultimately come true, as Fatu immediately signed on with The Bloodline and acknowledged Sikoa as his new “Tribal Chief,” who knows, maybe he too will get a solo run at some point in the future and show fans what he can do as a monstrous singles star.

“Hopefully WWE books Jacob accordingly. I mentioned this before. To get the best out of this kid, you gotta book him with the right people because Jacob is what, 240, 250 [pounds], amazing,” Rikishi noted. “Moves like a lightweight, he’s believable in all the stuff he does. So he’s a cross from his father, The Tonga Kid, and a beast like his uncle Umaga. You don’t need the fashion to be able to get him over. Just let him go out there and work and let him be himself.”

After being one of the true “if you know, you know” wrestlers in the game over the last five or so years, it's nice to see Fatu finally getting his flowers, as much like Rikishi noted, he has the potential to be one of the very best workers in WWE and a transcendent star who forces Paul “Triple H” Levesque's hand no matter how much he wants to turn Sikoa into a modern-day Caesar.
