Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff shared how he felt when Taylor Swift name-dropped him on her New Heights episode.

Swift was a guest on her boyfriend's Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast episode on Wednesday, August 13, where she gave Goff a shoutout. The singer was sharing how Travis has been supporting her getting into football since they began dating in 2023, and went on to explain how she was learning when certain players are on the field.

“I thought it was like, Jared Goff is here, and Josh Allen’s here. They’re gonna be like, they blow a whistle, and they go at each other, and they’re like ‘grrrr,' and it's like, who’s gonna win?” Swift said.

Goff shared how he thought of the mention from Swift was “cool” during his media availability on Friday, Aug. 15.

“Crazy couple of hours last night for me and my phone. Kinda cool,” Goff told reporters.

Swift went over several topics on the Wednesday episode which is now the most-watched of the New Heights podcast video which at the time of this writing has 17 million views. She spoke about finally obtaining her master recordings to her first six albums, how she felt about her record-breaking Eras Tour ending, details about the beginnings of she and Travis' relationship including their first date and so much more. While fans loved learning more about big milestones in the singer's personal life, the Swifties broke the internet when she revealed more information about her upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The singer will be releasing her 12th studio album and according the Travis, the album will have a different feel than her Grammy-nominated Tortured Poets Department.

“It’s a lot more upbeat, fun pop. A complete 180 from songs on Tortured Poets,” Travis is heard saying on the podcast.

The main cover art was also revealed on the show which features the singer in a diamond embellished swimsuit with her body partially submerged in the water. In typical Swift fashion, she will also be featuring alternate covers. The four covers will be in the colors orange, red, blue, and silver and have the corresponding subtitles — “Sweat and Vanilla Perfume,” “It's Frightening,” “It's Rapturous Edition,” and “It's Beautiful.”
