There is a significant matchup happening Sunday night as the Phoenix Suns take on the Memphis Grizzlies. Each team is coming off of a win but the status of two key star players for both squads in Kevin Durant and Ja Morant is still in question.

In terms of Durant and Morant, they both share a “questionable” tag with them per the NBA's injury report meaning while there statuses is still up in the air, there is a good shot they can play tonight. If both can play, it would make the matchup between the two Western Conference teams exciting to watch for fans tuning in or at the arena.

Durant has been dealing with a right hamstring strain that has kept him out since December 31 where the Suns took on the Orlando Magic. He would score 31 points, collect five rebounds, and record five assists in that game and has yet to make his debut in 2024.

Morant on the other hand is a new add to the injury report as he played in the win to the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night where he scored 21 points, recorded seven assists, and collected seven rebounds. After coming back from his sizable suspension, it has looked like the star point guard has never left, though he is suffering from a right shoulder soreness according to the NBA's official injury report.

Durant is looking to come back to a team in the Suns that is coming off a big win at home against the Miami Heat as they are 19-16 which puts them eighth in the West. As for the Grizzlies, they look to win two straight as they try to make some ground with their 12-23 record which is good for 13th in the conference.
