Peacock its flaunting its feathers to celebrate June as Pride month, according to The Mary Sue.

The streaming service has added quite a few LGBTQIA+ movies and shows. Some of these include Ang Lee's Academy Award-winning 2005 film Brokeback Mountain, 1996's The Birdcage, 2004's Saved!, last year's Summer Qamp and the new documentary Queer Planet.

The Peacock makes a rainbow connection

Brokeback Mountain was based on Annie Proulx 1997 short story of the same title. The film nominated for eight Oscars and won three, including Best Director for Lee.

Mike Nichols' The Birdcage, starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lee, was adapted from the 1978 French film Le Cage aux Folles, which was also an adaptation of a 1973 play by Jean Poiret. It was nominated for Best Art Direction at the 1997 Oscars.

June will also the premiere of several reality shows such as the season six launch of Love Island, Below Deck Mediterranean's ninth season and the extended and uncensored version of the season finale of The Valley.

If you prefer to celebrate June as a scary month, there's also 2022's M3GAN, Jordan Peele's Oscar winning 2017 film Get Out or the upcoming horror movie Night Swim. Or horror doesn't do it for you but you still want a thrill, there's always actions films such as Keanu Reeves' massive hit, John Wick Chapters 1 to 3, 2000's Gladiator (to prep yourself for its long-awaited sequel) and three Bourne franchise films.

Get Out was nominated for four Oscars and won one for Best Adapted Screenplay for Peele. Peacock is showing three out of the four existing John Wick movies, with the latest one released only last year. Ridley Scott's Gladiator was nominated for 12 Oscars and won five, including Best Picture and Best Actor for star Russell Crowe. You'll get to know Jason Bourne as it's played by two actors: Matthew Damon in the first and second films, and Jeremy Renner in the latest.
