There is overconfidence then there is a level that Jacksonville Jaguars were at during the middle of December. Trevor Lawrence was doing pretty well during that stretch of time which may have given their administration a huge boost. They started selling tickets for the NFL Playoffs. This may have not been a good idea since the playoff spot had not been secured. Fast forward to the end of their game against Ryan Tannehill's Tennessee Titans, things definitely went south and fans took notice.
Members of the Jaguars faithful were already quick to point out that this was a bad idea when it was posted. Fans replied with, “Can we go back to winning games and looking like a decent team, first?”
Since they did not listen, their NFL Playoffs ticket-selling post has been flooded with a lot of reactions. Most of them comprised of fans mocking the overconfidence. During their chance to clinch a ticket, Trevor Lawrence was not looking good. He had 14 missed passes out of 43 attempts. Two touchdowns may have gotten the Jaguars close but his two interceptions set them back by a lot. Ryan Tannehill and the Titans started to rally and it was just too much for them.

There is a lot to change in the Jaguars system heading into their very early off-season. One of them could be marketing tickets when an event is confirmed first before pre-selling them due to some semblance of confidence.
