Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins had an interesting offseason process, as the Chargers put a rare unrestricted free-agent tender on him, meaning they had exclusive negotiating rights if he was still unsigned by training camp. "We just didn't see eye-to-eye and business is business," he said. "They did what they had to do; I did what I had to do. And so, yeah, I wouldn't say they absolutely wanted me, but we just didn't see eye-to-eye, business-wise. So that's where that's at."

Nate Adkins practiced today. He’s trending toward playing for the first time of the season. He’s a sneaky key piece to the Broncos’ offense, so would be big to get him back.

Indeed. The organization must do the one thing it’s long been reluctant to do: make drastic changes. Dick Monfort is a loyal soul; this is a noble quality. But his loyalty risks losing the most important loyalty of all: that of a fanbase that continues to provide support beyond what the record merits.

Broncos have a significant advantage against the Chargers in Week 3. Chargers Week 2 road game didn’t wrap up until Monday at 10pm local time. Then they had to travel back to LA, not getting back until Tuesday AM. Broncos were home from their Week 2 game Sunday night. The NFL schedule makers gave the Broncos a significant advantage.

According to ESPN, #Broncos blitzed Daniel Jones on 24 of his dropbacks. He collected 16 completions and 267 yards. Denver could not get home. Finished with one sack with 24 blitzes on passes? That math doesn’t compute.
