While the Tennessee Titans might've thwarted the Jacksonville Jaguars' playoff hopes in Week 18, it may have been Derrick Henry's final game with the team. As Henry prepares to enter the unknown, the long-time Titans running back laid out his road map for free agency.

It'll be the first time Henry has experienced free agency. He is planning to do his research as he maps out what his next NFL plans are, via John Glennon of The Nashville Post.

“This is the first time I'm a free agent. Just going to enjoy the time, talk to guys around the league who've experienced it,” Henry said. “But any player would like to play in one place their whole career. Want to bring a Super Bowl here.”

If Week 18 marked his final game in Tennessee, Henry made sure to go out with a bang. In a 28-20 victory that eliminated the Jaguars from the playoffs, Henry ran for 153 yards and a touchdown over 19 carries.

But one game isn't enough to fully highlight Henry's career in Tennessee. Over 199, the running back gained 9,502 yards and 90 touchdowns. He was a four time Pro Bowler, an All-Pro and the 2020 Offensive Player of the Year.

It sure sounds like Derrick Henry's heart is still with the Titans. He wants to stay with one team and hopefully someday lead Tennessee to a Super Bowl. The only question is if the Titans will reciprocate that interested based on where the franchise currently stands.

If nothing else, Henry is going to see what his options are. With plenty of gas left in the tank, the running back will look for a team that allows him to continue carrying the rock and bowling over defenders.
