Bron Breakker is a new WWE NXT star and the son of the legendary Rick Steiner, but apparently a lot of people aren't a big fan of the name he's using. However, CM Punk is here to tell all of you dummies that Bron is awesome and will “be fine.” And speaking of names, even CM Punk himself says he has the “ultimate stupid name.”
The new AEW star said this in response to a wresting fan who was extolling the virtues of Bron Breakker as he tries “to save the future of men's wrestling in WWE.” This fan also admitted that most wrestling names are “goober names” that just wind up sticking over time if that wrestler is good. The fan brought up CM Punk and Roman Reigns as prime examples of this, which is what sparked the response:
CM Punk is the ultimate stupid name. Bron is awesome and going to be fine. He should be Steiner, but it’s not his fault. Changing my name to “Killer Brooks”

CM Punk admitted that he would like to see Bron Breakker using the Steiner name to honor his father, but ultimately it's not a big deal and he doesn't have to do it.
Wednesday was a big day for CM Punk, who was featured in a live interview for the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite. The wrestling legend will be back in the ring on Friday for a Grand Slam edition of AEW Rampage. It will be his second bout as a member of AEW after joining the company earlier in the summer.
AEW is blowing up right now, and WWE is desperately trying to figure out a way to keep up. The company needs fresh stars and storylines to keep people interested and coming back for more. The hope is that Bron Breakker will be one of these stars, and even though CM Punk is now a member of AEW, it seems he's going to support this breakout performer.
